Pilot terms of use
Important limits that apply while SiteRequest is being tested. Last updated 12 September 2026.
Pilot service
SiteRequest is an early-stage business-to-business sourcing pilot. Features, availability and these terms may change as the service develops.
Directory information
Public listings are provided to help initial research. Unless clearly marked as confirmed, SiteRequest has not verified a firm’s services, accreditations, insurance, workload, capacity or suitability. Users must complete their own procurement checks and due diligence.
Quote requests and permitted sharing
By submitting a quote request, you confirm that you are authorised to provide the information and files and instruct SiteRequest to send them to the consultants you select. SiteRequest first sends a verification link to the work email address supplied. No consultant is contacted until that link is used to confirm and release the request. Each selected consultant then receives a separate private invitation. SiteRequest may send operational and status notifications to the work and additional notification email addresses supplied with the request.
Private links, expiry and cancellation
Private request and response links must not be forwarded. Anyone with a valid link may be able to view the relevant request or quotation. Verification links expire after 24 hours and active request and consultant links expire after 30 days. A developer may cancel an active request, which revokes consultant access and sends a cancellation notice. Cancellation cannot recall information or files a recipient has already viewed or downloaded. Consultants are responsible for ensuring their response is authorised and accurate. Developers must assess quotations themselves and contact their chosen consultant directly.
No appointment or professional advice
Submitting a request, selecting a firm or receiving a response does not appoint a consultant, create a contract, authorise work or fees, or constitute engineering, surveying, legal or procurement advice. Any appointment is directly between the developer and consultant under terms they agree separately.
Your responsibilities
You must be authorised to submit the information and files you provide, keep confidential or unnecessary personal information out of submissions, check responses independently, and comply with your organisation’s procurement, confidentiality and conflict-of-interest requirements.
Consultant profiles
Anyone claiming or updating a profile must be authorised by the firm and ensure the information is accurate, supportable and not misleading. Requests require work-email verification and SiteRequest approval before public information changes. A “Verified profile” badge means that the submitting email was verified and the profile request was approved; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of qualifications, accreditations, insurance, capacity, suitability or performance. SiteRequest may request evidence, decline changes, label information as unconfirmed or remove a listing.
Workload-status checks
Verified profiles are asked to reconfirm their workload status every 30 days. An earlier end date supplied by the firm also applies. If the status is not reconfirmed, the directory shows that workload information needs reconfirmation; SiteRequest does not assume that the firm remains available.
Availability and liability
The pilot is provided on an as-available basis. SiteRequest does not guarantee enquiries, responses, quotations, capacity, appointments or uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, SiteRequest is not responsible for information supplied by third parties or for a consultant’s advice, fees, delays, work, omissions or performance. Users remain responsible for due diligence and appointment decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
